Thai Facial Massage applies gentle acupressure and massage techniques to the face, jaw, scalp, and décolletage — areas where tension accumulates invisibly but registers throughout the body as stress, headaches, and sinus pressure. The treatment is non-invasive and oil-based, using delicate lifting strokes and targeted pressure point work to release jaw tension (often linked to TMJ discomfort and teeth-grinding), stimulate lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness, and improve skin tone through increased circulation. The result is a natural, relaxed radiance — not a surface treatment, but a therapeutic one.
What to Expect
You lie on the treatment table, fully clothed from the neck down. Maliwan uses a light warmed facial oil and begins with gentle décolletage and neck work before moving to the face itself — working through the jawline, cheekbones, temples, eye sockets, and forehead with both massage strokes and precise acupressure points. Remove contact lenses beforehand. The treatment concludes with scalp work to integrate the release. Sessions typically run 30–45 minutes.
