Thai Head Massage is a focused treatment of the scalp, neck, upper back, and shoulders — the areas where most people hold the greatest concentration of tension. Drawing from both Indian and Thai traditions, the treatment uses firm but soothing massage techniques alongside acupressure points to release the muscle knots and restricted circulation that cause tension headaches, eye strain, and that persistent “heaviness” at the base of the skull. It is particularly effective for people who spend long hours at screens or in stressful office environments.

What to Expect

Head massage is performed seated in a chair — no undressing required. Maliwan works across the upper back, shoulders, neck, and scalp using a combination of kneading, compression, and acupressure techniques. The treatment is firm where tension is held and progressively lighter as relaxation deepens. Sessions typically run 30–45 minutes, making it one of the most accessible treatments we offer. An oil-free version is standard; a warm oil option is available on request.
